Bristol was rightly selected to host the latest development camp for England Rugby prospects.
It's just another indicator of the growing reputation of the city to manage top class athletes, and the demands of the best coaching teams in the country.
As the nation's top talent utilise the facilities of our great sporting city, every Bristolian should be proud of the people whose hard work make these occasions possible; the last few days has had a lot to do with Debbie Yeo of @NBRFC, thanks Deb!
We should all also be very proud of all the players who trained the last couple of days, including all the local boys from right here in Bristol!
U18 players from the region have worked their socks off to take away as much as they can from the training sessions put on by John Fletcher (England Academy Coach) and his team.
The staff and players seemed to enjoy the excellent facilities at Oaklands, home of North Bristol Rugby Club, no doubt the setting really helped the coaches work with the young stars selected for the development program.
It is needless to say that it has been a real treat to work alongside England Rugby the last couple of days right here in sunny Bristol. We will gladly give ourselves a pat on the back as Fletcher announced, ' ...the food was brilliant! ' and on a more serious note, '...we had definitely got into his top 50 places to eat! ' haha! Thanks John, it's been a pleasure!
